This bat-shaped pendant pays trubutes to Raja Melewar, the first king of Negeri Sembilan in 1773. Majority of the local inhabitants trace their ancestry to Minangkabau in the island of Sumatra. The tanduk-kerbau (buffalo horns) motif of Minangkabau is evident in this pendant.

Made of Malaysian pewter in antique rhodium plating and Swarovski crystals. Including a rhodium-plated chain.
